Woodwind Teacher in Melbourne

I teach all levels of Clarinet from beginner to AMUS level. 

I teach all levels of Saxophone, Baritone, Alto, Tenor and Soprano from beginner to AMUS level. 

I teach flute to AMEB grade 6 level. 

I teach AMEB music theory to Grade 5.

My style is a relaxed and enjoyable lesson that covers scales and technical work to develop fast fingers on the instrument. Then let’s play any style of music and turn it into pure expression. 

I am a passionate educator and music lover who can teach a range of styles from classical to jazz, including improvising, pop, rock, and world music.

I was a musician in the  RAN Band for 13 years, and now I have been teaching music in a range of private and government secondary schools for ten years.

I have had success with students being accepted into the VCA and other university courses.

I am happy to teach students of any level for fun or for AMEB exams.
