A versatile group of professional musicians

Playing gorgeous melodies for your special day. Select from classical, romantic, contemporary, film music, or popular hits to create the desired mood for your wedding ceremony/reception, birthday, corporate, or special event.

We are a group of professional working musicians who have come together to share the joy of music. The group consists of five women who are qualified, trained and have performed internationally.

The group consists of Karen Baker on the clarinet. She is currently studying Masters of Arts Music at UNE and has previously been an RAN musician. Karen is now an educator in schools and shares the love of music to students.

Christine Ross perform on the flute. She has trained at the VCA in Melbourne and regularly performs for audiences around the South Eastern region in Victoria. Christie has a beautiful tonal quality on the flute.

Pamela Christie completed her piano studies at Melbourne University and the Moscow Conservatory. Pamela has worked for many years in and around Melbourne. She is a repetiteur for the Opera Australia Schools Company, BK Opera and GBD Productions; and fulfils numerous performance and production commitments as a freelance accompanist and musical director.

Rebecca Parfitt studied viola under Marco van Pagee, Stuart Johnson and Paul McMillan and obtained her honours and subsequently her Master of Music Studies degree from the University of Melbourne. Rebecca performs most expressively in this group on the Violin and Viola.

Kerry Gill was awarded a scholarship to study at Trinity College of Music, London and completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Vocal Studies. Kerry has performed internationally around Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Roles include Leonora (Il Trovatore), Gilda (Rigoletto), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Tutte) and Norina (Don Pasquale).

The group can offer a diverse range and genre of music by performing together as a whole and also breaking into quartets, trios and duos. This provides clients with a vast range of music to choose from and covers a variety of services.

Gorgeous Melodies have performed at churches, festivals, Arts centres, and Recitals. Gorgeous Melodies are available to hire for birthday parties, Soirees, educational incursions, conferences, weddings and many other celebratory events.
